Mākoura Sports Academy
At Mākoura College, we recognise the importance of hākinakina and physical activity for our secondary school students. Engaging in sport not only promotes physical well-being, but also enhances mental health, builds resilience, and fosters a strong sense of whanaungatanga among our students, regardless of age, gender, ability, ethnicity, or financial circumstances.
Our goal is to create an environment where every tauira feels
inspired to participate, develop their skills, and cultivate lasting friendships. By promoting hākinakina (sport), we are investing in the overall wellbeing of our students, helping them to achieve their potential both on and off the field. Join us as we celebrate the power of sport at Mākoura College – where every effort counts!
